  • A van, pick-up or large trailer needs a van booking, not a car booking.
  • Bring your booking reference and arrive within your 30-minute slot, or you may be refused entry.
  • Hempsted recycling centre in Gloucester has been closed for repairs since 13 August 2026 and is expected to reopen in mid November, so check it is open before you book it.
  • Contractor-removed asbestos needs a licensed contractor.
